This poem was written by my mother's mother, Lenoir Inez Leonard Triplett - also known as Bobbie. This was written at an unknown date. I declare that I have the copyright to this poem.
My Apology to my Man.
My poor husband
Doesn't know that I know' Why he's so dreadfully henpecked;
Such simple little things, a basket
of darning, twonedn't need to be more.When I set me task and I don't
Succeed..... it's
Pop- why don't you mow the lawn,
You haven't fixed that light switch yet
Why don't you use the edger, we look
All frayed around about. For nineteen
Years he's patiently endured the
Scoldings I should have given me.
