On this fourth day of April, A.D. 1855, personally appeared before me, a Justice of the Peace within and for the County and State aforesaid, Sabra Fisher, aged seventy seven years in October last, a resident of Burlington, late of Colcester, in the County and state aforesaid, who being duly sworn according to law, declares that she is the widow of Jeremiah Fisher, deceased, who was a private and wagoner in the Connecticut Continental Line during the revolutionary war and was also a pensioner at the rate of Eighty dollars per annum, inscribed on the Vermont roll under the act of June 7 1832, and she believes that the said Jeremiah Fisher served in said war two years, and was honorably discharged prior to or at the close of said war.
   She further states that she was married to said Jeremiah Fisher in Northfield Vt. on the 29th day of May [?] A.D. 1805, by one Moses Morse a Justice of the Peace, and that her name before her said marriage was Sabra Tubbs. that her said husband died at Shelburne, Vermont, and the Eleventh day of October -- A.D. 1846

Chittendon County, ss.

    On this seventeenth day of August A.D. 1832, personally appeared in open Court, before the Honorable County Court for the County of Chittenden, now sitting, Jeremiah Fisher a resident of Colchester in the County of Chittendon  and State of Vermont, aged sixty seven years, who being first duly sworn according to law, doth on his oath, make the following declaration, in order to obtain the benefit of the Act of Congress passed June , 1832, That he entered the service of the United States under the following named officers, and served as herein stated.
        In the year 1780 (date not stated) my father was drafted to serve in Captain [Coushes] Company of Connecticat Troops the name of the City of  [?][the] Regiment I do not recollect - my Father being unable to do duty I took his place and served Two months, while in the same we were stationed at Stamford, and on Horseneck.
        In 1782 (the [?] date not [?]) I engaged as a waggoner under one Skidmore Waggon Master General for one year, and [served] out my full year. I was discharged at Morristown NJersey
        In 1781 I enlisted into Captain Willis Regt of Connecticut troops for nine month and served out the whole [?] of my enlistment, I was discharged at Morristown New Jersey. _ I do not recollect the Captain name under who I enlisted
        In the latter part of 1782 or beginning of 1783 (the day and month not recollected) I enlisted for nine month into Captain Busttalys Company of Vermont troops. Majr Roger Enos Commanded - I was discharged at [Castle?] after sweving out my time. My first Service whin I took the place of my Father[?] at Stanford and Horseneck - my under [Tenure] of a nine months.[?] as follows. I joined the army at Fishkill and was there when the Fort was building - from there we marched to the Jerseys and wintered at Morristown at which place I was discharged
        In my year Service I was employed in company [?] and [?] from one place to another during the [?] and was discharged as soon as we got into winter quarters [?] the Fish kills & [Ruskskill]
